It can not be true. At the time when Charlie Chaplin was that much young (at least about half a century ago), the photos' quality was that this much high. This photo probably was taken recently and that person is pretend Charlie. To me, this is fake, unless you could give a reliable source.
Dr X replies: Mahan, thanks for commenting. This is Chaplin, Jr, not Sr. Junior was born in 1925. He was 24-years-old at the time of this photo, dating the image to c 1949. It is indeed more than half a century old, but the quality is not exceptional for that time. The photo wasn't snatched from google search results. I used a solid primary source.
