I saw the title on an article posted on a bulletin board in a Starbucks. Naturally, I had to read more. Almost immediately I thought that this must be something posted by a psychotic person. The material had a paranoid flavor. It was also clear that the writer was suffering from a serious thought disorder. The whole thing was disjointed and lacking in overall coherence. It was just a series of associations about something criminal that had happened, involving stolen money, kidnapping, Dad, the president, the police and a dog.
I stepped back from the board and noticed there were other articles posted. Then I saw a posting up above the articles indicating that these were "mystery stories" written by first graders at a nearby Catholic school.
