What a beautiful child. Heartbreaking imagining that she had no childhood. Hoping that something or someone rescued her....and thinking of all thekids like her all over the world right now, working under worse conditions. Puts our own woes in perspective. Back to my own spinning now, except that one expects as an adult to live in drudgery. Not children, tho. They deserve better. Enough platitudes, sorry. Pointless to emote without anything concrete one can do about it. As Malcolm X used to posture "if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem." My, we're cheery today, Retriever...That poor kid in the picture.
