I think it would be a terrible burden to have such a precise memory. Though I sometimes bemoan my lost brain cells due to my illness and medication, there are many things I'd just rather not remember.

Our son, who is now 18, is severely visually impaired, has cranial-facial anomalies, tourette's & recently diagnosed with Asperger's. Just graduated from High School with a 3.79 GPA. He can remember things that happened when he was 3 or 4 although he can't tell exact dates/days until around age 6 or so. He's been an asset to us because none of the rest of us can remember what day or date happened last week!!
