I ran across this in The Guardian. I don't know what constitutes "therapy" in Saudi Arabia, nor do I have any confidence in therapy to cure criminality. This program might be helpful, though, for a subset of young men caught up in fanatical movements. Seeing the possibility of a meaningful life outside of spiritual transformation through murder and martyrdom could matter for some. The article mentions one man whose family turned him in to authorities because they were concerned about the direction his life was taking. Good for them.
