Such a sad Photo and the People who suffered way back then. My Mother always used Clorox Brown bottles for my Milk Bottle. This was back in 1940. The nipple on the bottle was the same as shown in this Photo with the Coke bottle. Life was not easy. Evidently water was not easily available either. The Mother must have had a hard time of keeping the Children clean. Sad Photo, indeed.

The Brown Clorox Bleach bottles were short and held a pint of liquid. My parents lived in deep Poverty and I guess, that is all they could find. I was the only bottle baby out of eight children. When Times were so difficult I wonder why they kept have children and so many ?? All my Brothers and Sisters were breast fed. I was the only Brown Bottle Baby. from Jan
