Yikes! Poor you. I don't ever use cash machines (never carry cash, except for a few bucks over from a grocery check every couple of weeks). I am wondering if this can be done in gas pumps and other places one uses a bank card as a credit card, tho...I use my bank card that way a lot...

But I really don't buy much except gas, groceries and online and a weekly Costco trip...An Ezy pass, and a Starbucks card and a train and subway pass take care of most things I would need cash for...

I have assumed for some time that I should be worried about gas pumps but had no notion what to do about that worry.

I always give the card reader a good hard pull to see if it's solidly connected to the pump. Doesn't sound like that's going to be much help anymore.
