The blog was down for 3 1/2 hours this evening. Not only that, the log-in page was unresponsive, so I couldn't submit a help ticket to Typepad. After messing around for far too long, I found an email address to contact support directly and then another entryway into the help queue.
A Typepad rep apologized and explained that they were clearing out spam blogs and mine was accidentally flagged.
Here's a tip: a Pro Unlimited customer--the highest level typepad customer--is probably not a spammer. Spammers usually go the free blogging route. I do appreciate the need for housekeeping, but I'd really love to know how my blog was mistaken for one of those gibberish blogs or one of those blogs that is nothing but a content-stealing, backlink site.
