Perhaps you'll recall my conclusion in this post, when I decided that I need to sort through some old family photos and personal memorabilia to determine the ultimate fate of items that will otherwise end up in a landfill. So I've begun the effort.
I came across a note attached to my first kindergarten report card. It dates to NY in the 1960s.
The flip side of the word "usually" was all my mother could see at the time, so she grilled me for possible incidents of misconduct. I remember being utterly confused by the inquisition. I'm sure that my teacher had to correct my behavior once in a while, but probably no more than any of the other kids.
I may scan and post a few more items as the work proceeds. Unfortunately, none of my fine artwork has survived.
