Conway tries to frame Pittsburgh shooting as really being about "anti-religiosity" writ large.— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) October 29, 2018
"The anti-religiosity in this country that is somehow in vogue... making fun of people who express religion, the late night comedians,.. It's always anti-religious." pic.twitter.com/yw6ZvY1CIQ
It was anti-religious? How about the Kroeger shooting? What about the pipe bombs?
The targets in Pittsburgh were Jews. The shooter was a white supremacist. He wasn't inspired by contempt for religious people. He hates blacks, immigrants and Jews, and he was inspired by anti-immigrant fervor and antisemitism.
The evasions of these truths are vile. The Trump administration has become a full-blown monstrosity.
Continuing to support Trump isn't a matter of merely being mistaken. It's a choice to place oneself squarely in league with evil.
