I had medical imaging work done a couple of weeks ago. Primary care doc told me to remind the hospital lab that they need to send the results to her because, frequently, they don't actually send her results of tests she ordered. So when I told the lab staff to send her the results, the staffer looked at the test authorization sheet and said they don't have the doc's info.
Me: Yes you do. You wouldn't have done the tests without out it.
Staff: The doctor is not listed.
Me: Can you show me the authorization sheet? (They hand it to me). Here's her name.
Staff: There's no other info... No phone number.
Me: (pointing to doc's info) Here's her name, here's her address, here's her phone number.
Me. So you'll send her the results?
Me: Great. Thank you.
2 weeks later...
Primary care Doc: Did you go in for the ultrasounds?
PC Doc: I don't have the results.
