I live about a mile from Wicker Park, and apparently, Milwaukee between North and Division was hit hard. I say "apparently" because I haven't surveyed the site myself, and sometimes what seems hard hit might be "only" one or two establishments.

My own neighborhood and the businesses immediately nearby don't seem to have suffered. My local Mariano's is all boarded up, but I assume (without knowing) that it's preventative. and not because of any damage.

Sigh. It appears you're safe. If so, I'm glad to hear it.
