Tucker Carlson: "How shocked are we that 17 year olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would?" pic.twitter.com/6jf59YW60U— Brendan Karet 🚮 (@bad_takes) August 27, 2020
No one else would? The state police, the local police, and the sheriff's police are at work in Kenosha. If a 17-year-old boy feels he should cross state lines with an AR-15 style weapon to police the streets of a town where civil unrest is occurring, the adults in his life have failed him miserably, along with right-wing militia goons on the internet, TV hate-mongers like Tucker Carlson and the President of the United States, who has been doing his damndest to scare the hell out of white Americans with his cynically-motivated apocalyptic fever dreams.
Rittenhouse has become a new hero for America's radical right-wing right.
#KyleRittenhouse is a national treasure.— Aubrey Huff (@aubrey_huff) August 27, 2020
Retired MLB player, anti-masker, alcoholic, and Adderall addict, Aubrey Huff, praises the Illinois 17-year-old who brought an AR-15 style weapon to Kenosha and shot three people while "helping" the police. Huff has previously been banned from joining his former teammates to the celebrate SF Giants 2010 World Series win because he's a reprehensible human being. I don't think he should expect an invite to anything MLB anytime soon.
Naturally, he's a huge Donald Trump fan.
And where would we be without Ann Coulter weighing in?
I want him as my president. https://t.co/qbiSeXcXL6— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) August 26, 2020
Rittenhouse was a 17-year-old self-appointed police officer who inserted himself into a volatile situation while carrying a rifle. He was in way over his head, and the predictable happened. Lionizing him will only serve to encourage more armed loons to make dangerous situations worse.
